Grants for Water Service Upgrades

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act prioritize water remediation through grants and rebates, supporting stakeholders in tackling water quality and infrastructure challenges. These initiatives offer financial aid to municipalities, local governments, and water companies for improving water treatment and remediation processes, facilitating upgrades to treatment facilities, infrastructure, and distribution systems.

Lead and PFAS Testing

Lead Contaminants Testing: Grants support the testing and assessment of lead contamination in water systems, focusing on identifying and addressing sources of lead exposure to ensure public health and safety.

PFAS Testing: Funding is allocated for the testing and monitoring of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in water sources, helping stakeholders understand and mitigate the risks associated with these harmful chemicals.
